Van Rigged with SMS Blaster
A 35-year-old Chinese national was arrested in Thailand for SMS spamming from their van. The van was rigged with an SMS blaster that had a range of 10,000 feet and could send 100,000 messages every hour. The spam texts were impersonating Thailand's largest mobile phone service, Advanced Info Service (AIS).
